ELECTRONIC LEAK DETECTION
Alternatives to Flood Testing
LMDH provides high and low voltage leak detection testing. Electronic leak detection is a fast, effective, and time and money saving alternative to flood testing
By using an electrical current, which is run across the waterproofing system, electronic leak detection can be used to ensure that no openings or damages exist in a newly installed or existing waterproofing system.
This is done without the use of dams, large and potentially risky amounts of water, and excessive down time. Electronic Leak Detection allows for testing to be done immediately, with little to no down time, meaning that time isn’t wasted waiting for flood testing.
Electronic leak detection also cuts out guesswork and allows for immediate repairs and retesting. Because electronic leak detection is following the flow of electricity to the exact location of a leak, leaks can be quickly pinpointed and patched. As soon as repairs are completed, LMDH also is able to immediately retest these repairs and confirm their effectiveness, meaning that work can recommence immediately.

INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY TESTING
When the sun goes down the roof cools off, however any moisture trapped under the roof remains hot. Infrared Thermography Testing can reveal what truly LURKS under the roof. Testing is done by Max Neves who is a professionally certified level 1 Thermographer. This form of testing is non evasive.

CAPACITANCE TESTING
Allows for testing over an existing roof surface to detect moisture measuring up and over 80%. This form of testing can read moisture as deep as 6" - 8" of insulation under the roofing membrane. This form of testing is non evasive.

DIFFICULT ROOF LEAK DETECTION
Flood testing of a designated area of a roof is common in the process of finding a roof leak, however they are not always conclusive. LeakMD uses the technology listed above as well as 15 years of roofing experience in detecting all possible locations of water, that may be by passing a roofs membrane and causing the leak.
